This maple-roasted butternut squash hummus is the best appetizer for a New Year’s Eve party. Let’s prepare this recipe for the New Year party.


For Hummus

  • Maple roasted butternut squash 1 pc
  • Chickpea (boiled) 140 gm
  • Sesame paste 1/4 cup
  • Ice cold water 1/4 cup
  • Roasted Garlic 2 cloves
  • Salt as per taste


  • Coriander leaves (chopped) 1/2 cup
  • Pomegranate (Seed) 1/3 cup
  • Vegan cheese (grated) 1/4 cup

How to Make

  • Mix all ingredients in the food processor. Grind it well until it gets smooth and thick.
  • Taste the paste. If you need extra salt or roasted garlic add some and grind it well.
  • If the paste is too thick and you want it a little bit thin, add some ice water to it.
  • Once you get hummus as per requirement. Unload it to a pan or bowl.
  • Garnish hummus with chopped coriander leaves, pomegranate, and vegan cheese.
  • Enjoy the appetizer with your family.


2. Easy Vegan Tikka Masala

Vegan Tikka Masala

It is an easy-to-make, nutrients rich, and plant-based meal that is perfect to enjoy New Year’s evening dinner. This recipe is healthy and delicious that you should try this.


  • Vegetable oil 2-3 tsp
  • Tomatoes (chopped) 1 cup
  • Onion (Chopped) 1 cup
  • Salt as per taste
  • Ginger-Garlic paste 3 tsp
  • Pepper (chopped) 3
  • Coconut Milk 1 cup
  • Garam Masala 3 Tsp
  • Chickpea (boiled) 2 cup
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Water as per need
  • Cauliflower (small pieces) 5 cup
  • Coriander leaves for garnishing

How to Make

  • Put the pan on the gas and turn on the heat.
  • Put oil in the pan for heating up and add onion in the pan.
  • Once onion gets light brown, add chopped tomato with onion on medium flame. Add some salt for a better cooked.
  • Now add ginger garlic mush and mix it well. After that, add turmeric powder, pepper, garam masala, and other spices. Stir it well.
  • Once spices are cooked perfectly, add some coconut milk and water and cook it for 2-3 minutes on high flame.
  • Now add chickpea and cauliflower to it add some coconut water and salt (if needed). Cook it for 8-12 minutes until the vegetable gets softer.
  • Serve it hot with rice, bread, and you can use it as soup.

3. Vegan Frangipane Tart

Vegan Frangipane Tart

It is a delicious and crispy dessert that everyone loves. It is the best dessert for the New Year’s dinner. Try it at your home and enjoy it with your friends or family.


For base or Pastry

  • Ground almond 30 gm
  • Flour plain 235 gm
  • Coconut oil 165 gm
  • Salt a pinch

For Filling (Frangipane)

  • Ground almond 200 gm
  • Powdered sugar 85 gm
  • Vegan butter 80 gm
  • Corn flour    5  tsp
  • Vegan/almond mink 195 ml
  • Almond extract 2 tsp
  • Salt a pinch

Garnishing (Optional)

  • Melted dark chocolate 50 gm
  • confectioners’ sugar 90 gm
  • grounded dry fruits optional

How to Make

  • Mix all the ingredients in a bowl for making base or pastry. Mix ingredients with hand until it forms dough.
  • Once dough forms flatten it on grease-proof paper. Place the flattened base on a tart pan and press it lightly with a fork. After that put it into the Refrigerator for 28-35 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius for perfect cooking.
  • Bake your tart in the oven for 20-23 min until its edges get a golden color. After that put tart to cool down.
  • Meanwhile, start the filling process. For this, mix all ingredients in the food processor and mix it until it gets a thick creamy texture.
  • Spread the filling on pastry and cover it with frangipane. Put it in the oven for baking for 25-30 min. When the tart gets golden color take it and wait for the cool down.
  • Once tart reaches room temperature start the garnishing process. Place grounded dry fruits on top of the frangipane.
  • Now add confectioners’ sugar with 2-4 tsp water; add it to the dry fruits layer. After this sprinkle melted vegan chocolate over the tart.
  • Serve and enjoy this Vegan Frangipane Tart dish with your loved ones.
